Greater Port Harcourt to support serious investors
The Ag. Administrator of the Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority, Bennett Chu Esq, has re-emphasized that the Authority will protect and partner with serious investors interested in the New City project, adding that the Authority is a regulatory agency, specifically created to develop the green fields within her Master Plan in Rivers State.
The Ag. Administrator said this at the Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt recently, during the 2026 technical workshop on Business-Enabling Reforms and Investment Competitiveness, organized by the presidential by the Presidential-Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), in partnership with the Rivers State Investment Promotions Agency (RSIPA).
Barr. Bennett Chu also stated that the workshop was a unique opportunity for government agencies like the Greater Port Harcourt City Devlopment Authority to interact with investors and real estate developers who are desirous of investing in Rivers State.
He further called for more collaborations amongst the agencies involved in the interface with investors in the state, to create enabling environment for investors and investment as well as boost the economy of Rivers State, promising that the innovative ideas shared at the workshop would yield positive results in the days to come.
