The project which will situate on 70 hectares of land in the New City Master Plan is a joint venture between the Greater Port Harcourt and Pristina Property Limited. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by the two partners to commence the process.

GPHCDA Administrator, Ambassador Desmond Akawor, said the housing project and entertainment centre would decongest the city of Port Harcourt and provide comfortable living environment for residence, especially as people are eager to move to the New City.
“This is because of its proximity to the M10 free way, which connects the International Airport and the Onne Sea Port for easy access, when completed”, he added.
Ambassador Akawor further stated that GPHCDA is determined to implement the New City Master Plan and restore the garden city; adding that the Authority is willing to partner with  genuine and interested investors in the development of the New city.
